need help with recording

hi guys jsut started making my own movies

i use Game CAm to record as fraps jsut lowers fram rate so bad

i use VirtualDub for editing

and i use TMPEGEnc for encoding


what my prob is. is there any other program to use for editing as i seen movies that have like a side show in them with pics with words in that fade in and out to name ppl so that u can put in creds and stuff like that i dont know how to do this with virtual dub or even if u can so to all you pc wizzes out there plz give me some tips want me to make my movies have that more pro look you know thanx peace out guys have a good new year

Windows Media Maker is pretty good, and also free. It does everything your after I think I tried it on my movies and worked well.
