Need help with Graphics Card, Geforce 4

Hi, I need help!

Has anyone experienced their computer freezing with a Geforce card? or specifically the Geforce 4 MX 420? I have a Windows Millenium operating system, 900Mhz AMD Athlon, 256MB ram. If there is any specific details you need let me know.
My computer is always freezing up or sporadic pixelated flashes while playing games, surfing the web or using any Windows applications.
I managed to solve the gaming problem by modifying the BIOS settings and changing a AUTO setting (I can't remember exactly what, but I will give the details if I reply to the post again if needed) and adding a hex value of BA. I still have the problem of freezing while surfing the web or using any windows applications, if there is anyone who has experienced this and who may help please get back to my post. I am really confused about all these driver updates and what to get.

can you give us some other details:

Motherboard
PSU
soundcard
hdd
cpu
what FSB speed you are running at

also go into hardware device manager and take a screenshot of what IRQs are being used.

Hi, I don't know what PSU means, I can't really know how to tell what my motherboard is to, I looked inside only thing I could see that I could distinguish it is a small chip that has VIA on it, but I aint sure if it is a VIA motherboard. My HHD Hard drive? I tried to find a name, I could see Seagate and it's 36gigs, I have screenshots of my system IRQs and some other details of my system summary, problem devices and conflicts/sharing but I dont know where I can upload them?

My computer manufacturer didnt really know the problem coz my other graphics card was busted and they replaced it with the Geforce card. They just told me to try and download a version 30.xx driver for my graphics card and see what happens, coz I currently have a 28.xx I'm currently in the process of going to download it I'll let you know what happens. I have downloaded others like the latest 43.00 driver it didnt seem to work, only messed my comp more and also the VIA 4-1 driver that didnt work either or I didnt configure it right.
