Need help to run the servers.

Hello there,

Since this server is growing in size when it comes to its population, I could use some help to run and modify this.

What I want is

2 Administrators:

- Will pay me 20 $ each, every month(That they want to run as admin). To help me with the server expenses(which is 85$. which means I will take the highest fee).

- They will get their own username + password to remotly connect to the server. Which they can also use as a FTP if they want to(Quite high specs on it, + a 100Mbit line).

- Will have to learn how to run the server, read about pluggins. What they can do to improve it, and make sure it is running at all times.

- Its the best if you are quite active playing the game itself(But not a must).

1 Moderator

- Have to be a very active member of the game.

- Will get op inngame, which allows him using all the commands.

- Have to be serious, not abusing his status as a mod.

- kick / ban players that do not belong to the server, or doesnt follow the simple server rules we got.

- Help people out, if there is anything they need(If they loose their items because of server buggs etc, they can give these players the items they lost).

Ok, what I have decided to do.

I have advertised our server on the official minecraft forum. To get a administrator with experience(Coding part). Which I have been sent several applications for.

This is a admin that will make sure that the server is running top notch at all time. And can do the coding job a tad better then me (I suck).

So because of this. I've decided to have 2 moderators and 1 admin(Which pays me each mont), on this server from FH.

The 2 moderators will be: Mevos & Darqs(You will get OP status, and be shown as mods inngame. And hopefully will be active to make sure everything works).

The 1 administrator will be toht.(this because we had already agreed on this before servered started up, and he is reading up on the running part + supporting me financialy to make sure the server is up.)

just make sure the applicants are over 18.... letting 14-16 year olds run servers never goes well, get them on vent to hear their voice anyone can fill an application in with "Hi i'm 27 mates" yet could turn out to be a 14 year old that just wants a laugh.

Yeah, thats exactly what I am dong Asking for a chat session on either skype or ventrilo, before I even consider letting them work on the server.

Though keep in mind, age doesn't equal bad behaviour and larger age doesn't equal good behaviour.

Yeah I know, but I figured out. That I really need a administrator that knows his stuff(Especially the coding part now). Since I don't know to much about it, and same goes for toht.

And since toht was the original owner of the idea of making this server, and had already agreed to be a co owner before I bought it. He became a admin

Anyway, you got exact the same power as the admins when running as a mod But you dont have to pay anything each month xD

Well, ofcourse it is possible to change it, but then you would loose everything And people need that place for glowstone!

Well i lost most of my stuff back in the transfer anyway, so have to see if i can find another world that would allow glowstone still be around.

I haven't actually built that much yet

I could use a active mod or two more now. I see that the online time have gone down on the players here. Reading the logg it seems like that one loggs on, stays on for 20min. Goes back out, then 5min after a new one do the same. Making it always just 1 player online.

I have had lots of work on my hand lately, and havent had time to play much(Tried Rift some aswell, even tho I don't have lots of time). This will ofcourse change a little bit when the next week is over.

Anyway, the server will always be open aslong as the interest is still there.

For this I want 2 active moderators to help me recruite a good community, and that are active inngame. They will ofcourse get moderator status on the server.

As for the rest of the community, please help us recruite more members to the server. You can do this by recommending it to friends, or post it on forums you are active on.

As a reward I will give everyone that recruits 3 or more members to the server VIP access.
