Need HELLP!! Just got CS on my own computer and

I just bought the retail version of cs, downloaded the newest version and everything seemed fine BUT
WHEN I TRY TO CONNECT TO A INTERNET SERVER IT CONECTS DOES NOTHING FOR A WHILE AND THEN DISCONECTS......IT DOES NOT INITILISE AND DOWNLOAD IT JUST DISCONECTS....HELP PLEASE

I have not played cs for 4 days now and im starting to go crazy...IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWEAR MAYBE YOU KNOW SOME ONE THAT YOU CAN SEND ME TOO! PLEASE

I and others havehelped with what 3 /4 requests liek this over the past month, they are still there in the thread list. Search for them, read them go to cs.net and read about upgrade problems.

I am not helping you properly till u learn to not use caps. Infact no, I just refuse to help.

Its a great collection of threads there but unfortunetly none of them deal with my problem. I can connect, once i do though it does not initilze and download.

Okay you make very little sense to me, I understand you have the retail version. Now tell me what patch you downloaded. Also this is not the only place you can get help with Cs problems, why not try http://www.counter-strike.net funnily enough being the home of CS they know a few things *HINT*Especially in the news section, scroll down a bit and look for CS 1.1 retail fixes. Check the BW main page, you see that thing that says guides@barrysworld? Well I think you will find SAS has a guide to Cs whcih may even go into retail version problems. Once you have done all this shit then come back if you still have a problem.
