One of the files on my "Titanic: Adventure Out Of Time" game recently became damaged. Without it I cannot play the game. If anyone owns this game, can you please send me the file "decka.set"?

To find this file, you will have to take CD2 and put it into your CD ROM. Next, in My Computer, right click on the titanic icon and go to "explore". Here you will see all of the folders on that CD, and one of them will be called "Data". Inside that folder is a file that appears as "decka", but if you look at its properties, the DOS name is decka.set . If you could please send that file to me through an email I would be very greatful. My email address is dumb2005blonde18@hotmail.com

Thanks for your help!

i cant get it off my own cd because it wont let me... i dont know why, but it just wont let me. getting a copy from someone else who owns the game would eliminate this problem... there were origionally 5 files that were damaged, but i got copies off of other titanic games that i own.

Just highlight the file and Right click -> extract it. It should give you the option to replace damaged sectors with 0s

You don't need to write them down, just ignore the unreadable box and see what it's managed to salvage as the end result.

Heres what I do when a CD is messing me about: use cloneCD and click Read To Image File and make an image of your CD, then with the virtual drive that comes with CloneCD, mount the image you just created and install from that.

Usually works too!
