It seems like i have to buy a new gfx card, the last weeks my current had just been a pain in the ass (the GFX card crashed on a average 10 times @ day, and ive mailed with Gainward with info how it crashes and so on, and they say its soon broken with a wee bit of bad luck), allways thougth it was because i had to low PSU for my comp since i had many stuff in comp that takes alot of power (old PSU was at 300w), now i have a new PSU at 550w, new mobo, new CPU, new mems, but I found out yesterday why it had crashed so much recently, the GPU fan had stopped. Cleaned it and made it run again in hope that it would work as it should. but it didnt, even tested to put a extra fan ( 40 mm high RPM fan ) both instead, and above the orginial fan, and even tried cooling from the backside of the card aswell. The gfx card is still the same, prolly the GPU is soon to be dead ( must have been very hot for a long time, since the logo on the GPU was mirrored on the cooler. )
So i need help to decide what new card i should get, there is 2 options that is in the price range i can afford, both cost pretty much the same, the diffrence is like 2 euros or smth only.
Radeon 9600pro 256mb
or
GeForce FX5600 256mb
both seems nice, the store manager I talked with said that they were pretty much the same in quality.
But I bet you game-freaks know better...
