How does that work? You preorder the game and then they email you a key? Post you a key and CD? What? :<

There are no final beta keys left with pre order packs now, they sold out within hours of release way back in November. The only way to get one now is from a GAME store for £3 if they still have any.

the £3 is just a deposit for the game when it gets final release in feb tho, so your not paying any more moolah

Mine too, I called 3 local stores yesterday and they're all gone, even the one that had 40+ copies just after Christmas. Ooo well, you should have pre ordered

Which part? It is correct you cannot pre order the game and receive a final beta key any more, and it is correct that the pre order packs through the official site sold out within hours, since myself and many friends were watching the sales on the official site throughout the day.

I suspect the "incorrect" part was that gameplay.co.uk still had final beta kits up until a week ago (last time I asked them). They weren't on the site of course, you had to phone them and ask.

Likewise several GAME stores also still had beta kits remaining and I suspect many of the smaller/less used ones still do. Worth ringing round.

I know some stores in Paris also have a few left. One of my guild mates was buying them last week for anyone that needed them (though the deposit was 10euros there so involved people paypalling him after).

or you can do like i did: order it in december, just to find out in early january that 'the order doesnt include a final beta key' (even though a lot of other people who ordered from there got theirs) from the company you ordered from

Where to get a key!

I know this has been said before but 3 days ago i visited my local Game store and for a £3 deposit pre-ordered WoW and got a key. So if you really wanna play the beta try Game stores. The only bitch was it took 21hours to download the beta, but its worth it.

Am currently lvl 16 Human/rogue and after 3 years of DAoC this game is a breath of fresh air. This game rocks!!

lvled my mage to 20, learned my way around in the game etc
But it's just a waste of time for any further playing now.
