was looking at accountancy cos i've always found numbers, figues ect really easy, buts it's like 1k per lvl and thiers 5 lvl's to become part qualified, to become chartered it's like 15k and 4 years :<


i don't have 15k



so what else could i do along those lines without having to do uni, or atleast not having to do 4 years of it

Try to get an entry level job with an accountancy firm? From what my friends who are accountants tell me, they pay is somewhat crap while you are doing you "apprenticeship" but they pay your way and after your contract runs out you can leave or stay at much improved wage?

to old for apprenticeships, for trades they genrally only take on 16-17 yr olds

the way the economy & job market is at the mo, get an apprenticeship & learn a trade
always useful to be able to fall back on something
people will ALWAYS need plumbers, electricians, builders, mechanics, etc
there's absolutely no guarantee you'll get into your dream job, and absolutely no job security unless you're self employed

Did gas course and now fix boilers, after 25 years in software.
Self employed, ups and downs , but you can make good money.
Best is 2k in one day..yes 1 day.
Worst is nothing in a month.
