Necro - WTF doI do now??

well a few days ago I came over to Prdy and into alb, to see how the other half lives I suppose,

Now I know that there likely to be a few (possibley more than a few) posts on this but as I'm a complete N00b to Alb I thought I would ask anyway..

I created a necro (fishman race),

now I'm lvl 10 (as a very kind bloke help'd me out in my hour of need) and so far all my points are into death sight (wot a wonderful fing is da pwr tap!!)

so to the question..

what is the best place to put the points??

I would like to go RVR but also do the BGs as well..

what say you? the intelligent and if I may say best looking bunch of people there is

Well Deathsight is the only way to spec a Necro good atm i think

and it also looks like Necros sux in RvR and ppl mainly use them
for cash/seals farming and powerleveling Infils etc etc...

Go for a Friar or something if you want a good PvE/RvR char

or play just for fun and spec what wver way you like =D

Was looking on herald spell library and noticed that necros got their own PBaoe in death servent specc... anyone ever tried it??? i mean.. it gotta be worth SOMETHING...

/edit AND in painworking they get a PBaoe DoT.. i mean.. how funky isnt that in a keep defence/take.. )

Yeah i started a necro today, only lvl 6, full death sight, i heard they are great PL'ers/farmers, and they also kick ass solo so i am going to use it to lvl a whole army of alts muhahahah <cough> hahah etc

The problem with the PBaoe on the Necro is the fact that you have to be facing your pet to cast it ( which can tend to be a complete pain ) .

The pbaoe isn't worth it at all. It's 20% slower than most pbaoe's, does only 2/3 the damage, you need to face your pet to cast, and you pretty much have to rely on your FP to get them off during combat. Considering FP is so utterly bugged atm, I wouldn't like risking possible death on it going off succesfully. Also, MoC is broken for necro's so don't expect it to be any use in rvr except at keep takes...

Necro pbaoe not really usefull,have Death Servant spec necromancer on Camlann and Death Sight beats it 10-0

My first necro was death servant specced along with some painworking. Soloed about a day till level 20...

My second necro was full deathsight... Soloed a day till level 38...

Makes your finger hurt though, no breaks allowed, and I only visited the trainer dude when there was a new powerdrain or lifedrain to be earned

I've got a painworking necromancer @ 41... was a deathsight spec until I respecced at 40. If you do respec to painworking soloing becomes very hard, and people dont tend to want you in groups.

Necro is usually PL/farming class, and for that deathsight is the way to go.
