Necro nerf

Last days I have frantically tried to level my necromancer, just waiting for all the US patches coming to prydwen that will nerf the lot.

But then I thought, is it absolutely sure we will get nerfed down to the level of the US necros? I know necro los got nerf after bout a week after complains of extensive abuse their. Later it has gotten further nerfs.

So Im asking you. Is it any use in leveling my necro at all? Will he
get reduced to the ultimate gimp in the end?

or are the reports of the necros gimpness greatly exadurated?

Don't worry, you'll still be able to solo a few full groups.

I cant solo several groups now. Im already a gimp! doh!

Can anyone give me the best RvR necromancer spec? Maybe there is some obscure uber spec out there that is much better then what I have now

A level 3 Necro with nothing specced could still solo 3fgs with all hp left over.

I think that once the next batch of patches arrive, with the LoS and TRUE LoS for necros, you'll find that suddenly there are very few necros.

TRUE LoS = you and pet must both have LoS 100% of the time, meaning you can't put your pet oat one spot and go elsewhere and tell it to nuke unless you can see the target too.

sadly this all seems too true, the necro is good at solo pve, and solo rvr... :/

hmmm... why bother with a necro seems to be a question i keep asking myself now,

in a group your useless as sooooo many resists against red/purps, and in rvr you may aswell be cannon fodder {specially once new LOS comes out} as basically all of your spells do less damage then everyone else in the game.

The only reason im gonna keep my necro is so when i get bored with my other chars i can solo lvl him, all said, the necro is quite fun in solo pve
