After the last few days i been constantly annoyed by the amount of ppl bothering me for buffs when i am nowhere near them,missing guild hunts coz some ppl keep bugging me for help which i dont mind but during a guild hunt is different,ppl spamming me with stupid msgs,some ppl talking crap behind me back for no apparent reason.Just a few reasons and this is forcing me to delete matt if not quit the game.

Sorry for all those that like me which i know is a quite a few but this crap is really getting to me

People talk crap about me and my guild all the time be it behind our collective backs or publically on a forum. It doesn't mean I or anyone else is going to give up though, doing that only means they win.

I don't think people would do whatever it is they are doing if you didn't make such a big deal of it Matt. I've seen a couple of threads you've done here along the lines of "why don't people like me?" and similar. Just ignore it and play your own game. If you constantly worry about what other people think then you'll never enjoy anything be it in game or in real life.

I don't doubt it but you aren't the only one. Because I never use /anon I get several /sends the very second I log on normally and constant other ones throughout the time I'm online. You don't have to reply to them all, particularly the nasty ones. People have created random level 1 characters just to /send me abuse so it isn't as if you are the only one getting all sorts of wierd shit sent to them.

"I'm in battlegrounds and need a buff"
"Are you in Camelot hills?"

Or be somewhere in darkness falls killing these big wings things
, somewhere deep i imagine.
"Hi can you buff r grp plz"

Usual response i get when i say no, which i always do (i'm not making a 10-15 minute journey to buff someone for 10 minutes just to get the exact same message again back where i was) to which i get alot of "lol ok", either they saw the stupidity of asking me across 3 or 4 zones for a buff, or their just going "ignorant shit not helping newbies out"

If i'm stood next to then and they ask fair enough, if they make the effort to actually find me and ask politely (ie. anyone who says buffs plz kthxbye, will be told to speak properly, i get flamed for that, their loss, find someone else to buff em).

If it's someone i know, then i'd politely inform them i'm busy in a land far far away p)

If people would just remember that we're not here for their own personal sodding use and strangely enough won't be falling over to get to every single (if at all any that we choose) request for a buff, life just might be that bit easier.

or to put it nice and blunt for idiots out there, if we're in a different zone, don't bother asking, you haven't got a fcuking chance mate

I say spend some time and expand ignore lists which will consist of all people who bugger you, secondly dont reply to stupid messages, it gets you nowhere. Trust meh if someone sends you abuse and you dont answer they will be wondering if you got it or missed it in all the spam hehehe.

I use /anon on my cleric when i am fed up with it.

Damage buffs are great to the new guys. But asking someone to travel 10 minutes to bring it to you must be related to ignorance.

Matt We all have our bad patches and get alot of grief but trust me u are one of the most respected players on this server and for all the crap you suffer you more than double get in compliments.

As for buffing i get msged alot about that and its just ur class it comes and goes. I know though that albion needs you and you are essential for the realm.

Take little break and play an alt in the day.

If you have any problems just message me ok.

I dont say I like Gideon or dislike him here, I havent even spoken to the dude. I just think that behavior like this, with alts abusing and god knows what else some ppl do, is so low. I hope they get caught and publically hanged out and after that, banned. No player should have to put up with this kinda crap.

how to get your own back as a wizard:

only for the really irritating people who follow you around cam hills until you jump on a horse:

give them your lvl 3 buff + lvl 1 damage shield. watch them walk away thinking they can take on reds only to find out they are dead in 2 hits.

the above advise should not be done to anyone who actually respects you though i quite often see a OOTK infil named madeline i think (or madline, something close) who comes up to me in DF politly, curtseys and asks if she can assist me in helping her kill monsters with the power of the earth i can give, now thats how to ask for a buff, hell id follow her for a while if she wanted cause players like her should benifit and be leveled quicker than the "HIYA COME TO PB PLZ I NEED EASRTH!" crew. watch me bestow lvl 2 buffs soon if you are mean to me =)

Yeah you are all right i gonna be even crazier now buff requests from high lv alts go lv yourself for once like i do without them i mean it aint hard u just gotta be patient and a goodplayer.
