Natural-Selection is a free mod using the Half-Life engine and as such can be downloaded from here
#game.hl is the IRC and Game.net Webchat channel for all Half-Life mods (Bar Counter-Strike) and so admins will be present in game and also in the channel.
Natural-Selection is just as good for newbies as veterans so come along and give it a try
