Naked Crossrealm Fun - 11/11-04

I'll be holding a naked run this thursday to celebrate the not-quite-so-serious joys of this game, and by popular demand this event will be open to ALL realms. Us brutes from the cold north would be mighty honored if our foes from Albion would care to join us in this, to forget our disagreements if only for a few hours

Seeing this will take place in Emain it's more than likely that we'll get wiped at one time or another - but hey, that's life and no hard feelings for those who wish to play the game that way

The midgardians will gather at MTK at the time mentioned above, so expect us to be at the MMG, AMG or the bowl in Emain by 7 pm GMT/20:00 CET.

Do you really think that Emain is the place to do it? People WILL ruin this event because they don´t read FH or don´t care and consider Emain their sandpit where they come to play and nothing will stop them from playing. I remember a memorial ceremony for someone who died IRL which was hold in Emain and was spoiled by "I don´t care, keep RL stuff RL plz!!!111oneone!" kids.
Why don´t you do it in HW or Odin? Just a suggestion.

We did a 2fg naked guild run in emain a long time ago. All got to AMG where, without even blinking, 2fg of mids just steamrollered us down and then went off towards ATK without so much as a /laugh, /hug, /cry, etc.

Hope you have fun, but I bet the l337 wankers are already planning how they can wtfpwn you all with their mad skillz to prove their e-manhood over IRC.

However I do strongly suggest you rethink the location. Cross-realm events only ever work in Hadrians for any length of time.

The plan will be to start in Emain, not only because it's green but also to give the regular zergs and groups a good laugh. IF ( ) for some reason we are wiped we will go HW, and meet up at the cross between the road from MMG and the one from HMG. As for an IRC-channel for this I'm sad to say that would probably count as crossrealming and get me kicked out of both guild and alliance, so we'll just have to coordinate through FH.

And, if for some reason HW doesn't work next meetingpoint will be the glacier giant in Odin's. Always wondered if anyone has taken that down without clothes and weapons...

Spanish players (plus outlaw who added us) did it time ago organiced for Mortem Minimun Est. It was a naked race from atk -> DC (nearest keep in enemy hands, it would has been crimtain or bold) and finished in amg. May be any NP member has a pic from their viewpoint
