Just downloaded the latest version of Firearms, and I'm having a problem with running the thing: it seems to crash randomly, throwing me back to the desktop.
Is there something I can do about this, or should I just give up on the idea?
And another thing: I've been playing games for years and remember the good old Cheapo proxy for Quake - so useful for clangames of QWTF (real TFers don't duck!
) or DM. Do you think there is a need for one for CS/HL or has voice comms rendered this type of communication obsolete?
If people think there's a "market" for it, I might write one and release it - although not under GPL because that'd provide an easy start for people to hack and turn it into a bot/wallhack device...
