Yes.

Thoughness and MCL are some of the most valuable RA's on Servant Necro's afaik.

yes... Toughness should transfere to the pet as far as i know...

But... i would recomend 1MCL, 1RP, MOM and WP for necro RAs... power can be a problem... but besids that u should mostely worry about damage output... For PvE only ofc :fluffle:

RvR is another thing.... but necros in RvR are :m00: so dunno much about it

The summoning suit is used when you create your pet. This should cap Hits and Con, including the ToA bonuses. So your suit should add 400 hits and 101 con. Wear this to cast your pet, once you have a pet change to your fighting suit.

The fighting suit is used when you are a shade and have your pet. This should cap Dex, Int, Resists, including any ToA bonuses. You might want to also cap Power as well. Dex and Int are 101. Resists are 26%, as minimum your should cap melee resists.

Both suits can be done with quested and rog drops quite easily and a bit of sc'ed armour. It can be less but most suits require 8-10 items to be swapped although I have seen one that only used 4.

The other thing to note is that all your items will retain their stats (*) even when at 70% so never repair your fighting suit items.

(*) The only stat that isn't kept at 70% is the Magic skills so if you want to retain these repair any items with those stats on them and replace them with new items when they wear out. Most people use player made/spellcrafted Gloves and Boots as these are the cheapest items to replace.

i thought sweet a decent servant necro sight, until i saw this......

9.8 - Guardians of the Phoenix
Chan and his brothers! Sweet sweet farming off of this trio, every time you kill them they drop 5 items of the quality shown on VOS for this trial. The loot doesn't have fantastic utility but it all has some very nice ToA bonuses and looks sweet.
So anyway on to the killing part... these guys are TOUGH. You have to have some form of power regeneration for your cleric at least, you are going to be healing a lot. My bot isn't even ML1 yet and I'll never see ML5 so I load her up with power potions, takes anywhere from 1-6 potions per fight depending on how often your heal proc goes off. DI2 x2 makes this easier, here is what I do for the fights with no FoP:
Pop DI2, wait 7-8 minutes to get close to DI repop, attack with pet. HoT and DS up while burning DI2
DS up at all times. Cleric heals me for about 20% each heal, so when the pet gets below 60% I heal twice. Always have cleric sitting down when not casting. NOTE: Your necro will run out of power if you are constantly casting DS and HoT and have no power regeneration, these guys have too many HP. I usually only use the HoT when I have DI going or when the cleric needs a little extra help.
When the cleric is low on power I pop the second DI2, cleric sits to regen power. Use HoT to ease the drain on DI and give cleric more time to regen.
Continue as above, healing when needed, drink power potions as needed. There is a 1 minute timer between potion usage.
I had a minstrel and another cleric accompany me once (they were both mid 40s) and they made these kills cake. I still used DI2 x2 on my bot but the other cleric easily kept up with the heals with the minstrel's power song 4 running.
These guys repop after only a few minutes, farm away!

ummm, how can ur bot get into ml9 dungeon if he aint even ml1 yet? /boggle

Correct, which is why any Necro template should include the Belt of the Moon. This gives a new staff even when the belt itself is at 70% Con.

Pendragon tests, afaik.

RedH (necro TL) and others have produced most of these servant necro guides after experimenting on Pendragon (which does not have the usual ML entrance restrictions).
