hihi now that bw have an ofp server up it seems as good as any to give it a shot online. I've only played it a couple of times on a lan, neither was with any decent amount of ppl(6 was the most) just wondering what i needed to get started.

i'll be starting with fresh install of ofp(original cd, not GOTY) and then the gold upgrade. what else will i need to play on the bw servers?

You'll need the Resistance upgrade, and the 1.90 patch.

I'd also recommend getting The All-Seeing Eye if you haven't already.

ahh flipin codemasters. must buy resistance. should be here later today - having a sister that works on the town centre is handy

just resistance and the 1.90 patch is needed yes? hopefully should be all done by tonight. woo. yay!

where do i get al the custom missions from? is there a dir on the FTP? cheers

You can get the missions and install them in the MPMissions folder yourself, but far better is to get them from the server, where it places them in a Temp folder. If the version of the mission on the server changes, it will replace it.

I just got resistance and had to patch to 1.85 first, then a couple of days later they released 1.90.

You may have to do them in sequence, as the big steps are usually called Ultimate Upgrades.

They're both only 13 and a bit megs so even on my shite connection they don't take to long.
