Yes it's a bit crap the N-Gage,but you've got to hand it to Nokia for persistance, this looks like it may have potential, cos you can play it on the PC and carry on playing mobile with yer N-Ggage.

Actually n-gage is a good phone, messaging system and has cababilities for a good gaming deck also. Ofcourse 3d games arn't what this thing was made for, but i give it time. I'm PC player to the hardcore, bt this lil thing has stolen a bit of my heart. Must be the phone+gaming deck that sweetens it.

Developing a n-gage title, was internal quality assurance in pathway to glory and work with the bloody things every day so i know a bit :p

Not a bad idea, but not a great one. To be honest, the cost of running it on an n-gage (plus a dedicated server set to handle both systems) would be immence. And lets face it, how long do we spend during the day away from our pc's with time to play an mmorpg (There are a few who can run them at work).

I mean, how long do we spend traveling per day where we have ample time to play an mmorpg? Not very long is the most common answer. Plus there is the other consideration: would you have your N-gage on display, in public, waiting for a bus or train?

Personally, I think it's a bad idea (think we've had this before off me, but fuck-it).

Actually you can play, via computer on the bluetooth connection, on a normal cost. Just like surfing the net. I can get the tech data, but i'm too lazy :p

As i said tris-, it's a good phone/messaging system too. When you add good games to a good phone, it makes it worth while. The cost ain't that high either.

Atleast i don't have any problem whipping out ye old ngage (qd that is, not the old sidetalker) on a busstop. Might be 'cause i live in the nokia dreamland mobile center though :D

Pathway to glory eh .
Toht's had a real job.
3D games, the N-gage does them quite well actually, I was amazed by Colin Mcrae, plays and looks as good as PS1 version.

There's no reason why a deck with the N-gages hardware couldn't play a single zone of say even DAOC, you could xp in a reduced area, like those instanced dungeons maybe.
Space ain't a problem my gage has got a 1GB card in it.
