i dont want to be hooked on another mmo as i have finally kicked my daoc addiction (mainly because of boredom of the game), and am enjoying rl (yes i said it, enjoying rl).
unfortunately im a power gamer i cant help but want to finish it before moving on :<

What we're making is a total hobby experience.
We want you to buy this game and never buy another one.
We want you to spend all your time playing it.

The more commitment you put in, you've got to pay us some money, you've got to agree to play it, then more the game will reward you.

a hobby experience should grab you to the core of your being and be the only thing you want to do, and that's the game we're making.

Which translates to another timesink. It'll suck like ToA x10 - and that's before the expansions.

If timesinks were "fun", WoW would have 5Million subscribers.... ... ..

For all their heroic talk of innovation and fun, Mythic are turning to Blizzard's success of creating a hopelessly repititive experience, which attracts millions of goths, 12year olds and their parent's earnings.

So tired of people saying that WAR will be a WoW clone. WoW is mainly based on pve, its pvp system is horrible and stupid. War will be made mainly for pvp, these 2 games wont be very similar at all.

Wow probably do have 5 million subscribers. I do enjoy the pve atleast, seeing as it's challenging and not a grind. If it's not a grind it's fun. Toa was a grind, rvr wasn't.
