Sure i ain't the first to post this(couldn't find with search), and i'm sure many of you have seen the show...but...

...what a load of whakcjobs!

My tiny park chemist brain is loving every bit of it and the things they do are quite fun.

Is yawning contagious(ok, it was a bit yawny)
Can you do an indiana jones jump out of a plane and resque yourself with an inflatable raft.
Can you do that "bottle rocket backpack" that the japanese clip shows.
And much more.

It's just a class show and worth the trip to the local...what was it...yeah.. "shop"

"can you save yourself in a falling elevator by jumping when it hits the ground"

The mad peeps found a deserted hotel with about 15 floors. Fixed the elevator that was a total mess, only to put their "testpilot" in it with some kinda eject thing up his arse that would make him jump exactly when the elevator hit the ground. Boor testdoll was a mess after :worthy:

as i remember it Mythbusters actually started before brainiac, and tbh brainiac is just dull because it has nothing to do with science really, its just a guy trying to do funny things that looks like science (with the usual crowd pleaser like boobs and explosions) sure its fun but mythbusters actually tries to prove something with the myths they bust and its so much more fun atleast imo

I think my favorite has to be when they see if shooting a compressed air canister causes it to explode.
In the end they had to use C4 to get some fireworks

Is a great show, the other day they tried to see if Bug Bombs could blow up a house, that was pretty cool.

fie! it's FAR better than Braniac. B, though amusing, isn't actually based on anything sciency at all, unless by accident. MB seek out urban myths and ideas and see if they actually can occur. Well worth a watch. Sadly Discovery Channel tends to rerun every episode 28 times :/

much like MTV and any other music channel with the monthly hit songs....its well annoying
