My upcoming wedding post (again!)

Anyway here's the summary, Choppy and I are getting married December 10th. (its a tuesday)

We are thinking of having it at Hadrian's Wall, over at the roman ruined house. Time to be announced later, but will try to get it to be around sunset.

All three realms are welcome, just please no fighting ok?

If any couples from the other realms are interested in making it a triple wedding, contact me via here or on the PARP boards.

Lets see...what else... oh yeah Casbardh is getting an honor guard together, which will be really nice.

So like I said, everyone is welcome, just put your pets on passive (will be plenty of time to fight later, honest )

Speaking of gifts, what the hell do I get the cleric who has everything? Hmm I know, probably just some goodies for his alts instead hehe.

You could try to charm a lurikeen, they seem to be quite good for housekeeping duty's... Gives the both of you more time to do fun things. Allthough they tend to have difficulty's cleaning high surfaces.... My suggestion would be Teador, he should know his way around in Albion, so you can get him to go fetch you dinner also

I'd have to agree with what has been said. Having the wedding in a RvR zone is very risky. I know I could control myself, but there are many stupid people out there who can't, no matter what realm they belong to.

allways wanted to join some wedding ceremony but they have been terrible times, middle week, when need go work early next morning.

Hmmm, why the hell would you want to have a wedding in the frontier?

Most of the wedding's i've attended in Midgard have been in Jord so although im not an Alb player, i'm sure you must have a similar venue.

It's nice that your getting married, gratz an all but i'd hate to see a thread appear with people having a go at any Mids or Hibs that don't read this forum and happen to stumble accross your celebrations becuase i'm sure they won't be too bothered about who is getting married as long as the emeny is dead, it is the enemy after all.

I've seen great reasons in the past for RvR to be put on hold and all members of all realms to unite but i'm sorry, i don't think a wedding is one of them. In fact for my celebration after my wedding we took a group to Crauchin Gorge in the hope of spilling blood

Primus, people out there arent stupid, they may just not know what the event is, as far as they're concered its just a groups of Albs "talking in a language they don't understand" and fair game.

In Emain, it would be ridiculous. In Odins, it would be impractically risky. In Hadrians.. depending on the location they pick, it should be fairly safe unless people show up there specifically to wreck the party.

There are very beautiful places out in Hadrians, completely out of typical routes where practically noone ever goes and even no close aggro. Legionary house unfortunately isn’t one of them.

Yes, I am aware that there are people that don't know what the event is, and I don't call them stupid. There are however people who see this sort of post and goes: "Oooh, there's something I can crash and perhaps gain a few rps for it..". Those are the people I call stupid... Otherwise I'm just saying it is risky, not impossible.

in my view there is time when you need go war, and times for peace.
its risky, agree, but if 3 realms assasins and tanks play together, they can keep this kind situation quite clean.
offcourse there allways are bloodthirsty kids who dreams how they suddenly come this kind situation and spoil other fun.
this is one way to play this GAME.

why not clearly put wedding place where only can go from one small hole, and that hole guards watching, and maybe small pbaeo time by time against assasins?
hope just this go well, as any marriages people arrange
