tldr We've had a suicide, an ex-glasgow gangster move in, get stabbed and move out, a kidnapping and now the coup de grace:

The guy across the road, who has an ill wife ( allergic to sunlight ) has only gone and done a lord lucan.

Embezzled a few million quid in illegitimate under the table hidden from the tax man from local business owners he's now abandoned his car and left his mobile phone on exmoor and done a runner.

On my old street in Shepherd's Bush we had: 1 murder, 1 attempted murder, Richard Hammond drinking in the local at the end of the road, and Roger Daltrey lived on the street when he was a kid.

They filmed a Dangerfield murder scene in my kitchen once, but that's genuinely as exciting as it got on any of my streets.

Went downstairs for my morning coffee, notice a police van across the road.
Around 3 hours later, another police van rolls up, at least 10 officers inside ( same house as the guy who's "dissapeared" ).

So the 2 Community Support Officer vans + 10 officers were there to scan and search the house for a body ( live or otherwise ) in case he'd done a canoe man.

Surprised this shit isn't on the news yet really.

The most interesting event that took place on my street in recent years was the neighbours painting their house white instead of red like they usually do, was quite a surprise.
