I set out to make the best possible template i could think of for my ranger.
That for me meant
200 hits cap
50 af
and as much bow range/speed/dmg % as i can as well as dmg/style/speed for melee
i worked on this template for ages and it took alot of pain and migraine headaches, but what i came out with, is in my opinion the best template for my ranger.
There are some conditions to the following template:
- cannot use the legendary weapons until new frontiers and the strength based legendary weapons (as apposed to con based)
- before new frontiers i will most likely use golden spear and crafted offhand
- when using bow, a pair of boots with + 5 bow some resists and +28 quickness
- when using melee a pair of boots with +5 piercing, the same resists (body resist had to be lowered one due to being impossible overcharge) and + 5 cd instead of teh + 28 quick
- it is possible to use any of the following bows whilst using the template
-Falcon talons (normal use)
-Immolated (crit shots and taking down keep doors with seige lore)
-braggarts (normal use)
-fools (for seige lore and if i need a real fast rate of fire)
When i sat down to make the template i started off with all the usual high imbue neckys etc such as paidreans ebon hide bracers ring of zahur etc, but quickly found out that i was either over capping 2-3 resists by about 10-20 points and undercapping others by as much as 20.
I therefore went bit by bit through all the items available and tried to get everything i wanted i.e. 400 hits 50af etc as mentioned above, therefore i dont really want replys such as why dont you use such and such, its got a much higher imbue.
Instead i would like critique on the actual spell crafted parts, where u think i could do better to spell craft over the player crafted pieces to maximise my stats.
I did not manage to get all the things i want e.g. melee modifiers,although i belive legendary weapons should be enough.
