I've never experienced this problem before so I'm hoping someone may have and can tell me if it's worth me actually buying a new PSU or to keep playing with things.
The problem first occured yesterday, my pc just restarted itself, then after about 10 seconds of booting up it would restart itself again, this went on for a bit before I unplugged it.
It then ran for a while until it happened again last night so I just left it off.
Same thing this morning would boot up then restart after a few seconds, I now finally have it running by disconnecting my cd drive and case fans, so does it sound like my PSU is dying?
It's a 300 watt btw I'm running a Athlon 2100+, Radeon 9700 pro, DVD Writer and a couple of case fans.
Ideally I'd try a spare PSU only problem is this is my spare one my last one died completley 8 months ago
Thanks in advance.
