My New BT ISDN Crashes My Computer

Hi Guys,

I don't normally post here, but I'm getting very desperate.
I had a BT Home highway fitted on friday, when the engineer
tested it on his laptop, no probs.

As soon as I installed the software and plugged in the USB cable
within 2 minutes the computer crashes and I get loads
of rubbish and the following error

Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL gisdnpnp.sys

So far it hasn't connected at all. The engineer mumbled a
few things and gave me the help line number and departed
quickly.

The help desk don't seem to have a clue. They took some
details and said they would get back to me. So far I'm still waiting.

Any ideas what could be causing the problem and how I can fix it

Thanks in advance

Steve

Whatever you do dont use the usb cable for gaming.Get a terminal adaptor from www.solwise.com .Made by asus, and will a) halve your ping
b) work properly.
Trust me it will work :)

throdgrain is bang on there, the USB is 'ok' for standard web browsing, but is no good for getting good pings! :)

you might want to check www.overclockers.co.uk as well for ISDN adapters.

Good Luck :)
