My fun Afternoon.

So I had to call the fire brigade after some plumbing on this boiler went a bit tits. The plumbers left and told me it was all good, and than I go down for a cup of tea about an hour later and smell an acrid smokey smell, went out to investigate.

I presume you're going to pummel your plumber into something resembling jam?

nice white sandals? did it blow a hole in your roof in picture 6?

Not me wearing the sandals, no hole in the roof, plumbers confirmed jammed.

Wimp..just turn it off..is that an oil burner?

I'd have done the same thing. I hope you tell the plumber you expect him to make good everything the Fire Brigade damaged.

It isn't an oil burner, and the boiler wasn't the actual problem ( I did switch it off ). Something ( cough plumber ) had created a hotspot in the wall material.
It wasn't an actual fire, it was several hunded degrees but hadn't ignited. tldr, it would have turned into a proper fucking fire, if I hadn't noticed in time.

Strange one...modern boilers dont get that hot on the casing...shit happens though
