My friend can't download the patches

My friends free month ended a while ago and now he have installed Windows XP and reinstalled daoc and payed his subscription. But when he try to download the patches it says he can't bacause some major keyfiles are missing.
He has tried to uninstall and reinstall DAoC, but the same problem occurs.

Have anyone else had this problem?
or maybe got an idea of how to solve it?

well if you have a zip drive, cd writer or 300 floppy disks couldnt you copy the files and then put them on his computer?
