My first pipe!

have had a yearning to start pipe smoking of late and so just been to a lovely little tobacconist and brought my first pipe, a sweet little thing but does not come with an L plate on the front.

The lady who ran the shop got her husband to give me a demo of how to load it up and light it and brought some lush smelling coffee and caramel and some dark cherry pipe baccy as well as a pack of pipe cleaners...which I must remember NOT to make into animal shapes lol.

Anyone here a pipe smoker and if so are there any pipe baccy blends you can recommend?

btw, Top Tip: buying loose hand rolling tobacco is a heck of a lot cheaper than pre packaged.

Hahahhaha i must say. When someone decides buys a pipe they are living the good life! Ez, i believe you will retire to your comfortable armchair and smoke for the remainder of your days, so have a good one!!

I gave up smoking six months ago. Spent two days playing with patches, which was the worst kind of torture in the world, and then decided to be all stoic about it and went cold turkey. It was a tough decidsion given how much I enjoy smoking, but I'm in need of surgery, and won't get it until I have been a non-smoker for a year, because we live in a very free and fair society.

I miss smoking. I miss my pipe. I'm hungry.
