My final berserker ToA template!

First thing you see is that it has 6 artifacts. And that means a lot of work.

Bane of Battler
Malice's Axe
Golden Scarab Vest
Harpy Feather Cloak
Winged Helm
Belt of the Sun

I have a lot of spare time on my hands the coming months, so I hope to get
all the needed equipment. It's not much that I am lacking atm either!

And I do have a very hard to get ring in here, but the point is
it fitted so extremely well I am willing to do a lot to get it.

Since Thornar is a Norseman, I have ofc made it from his point of view.

Resists:
Body: =26
Cold: =27 (22 +5 Norseman)
Heat: =26
Energy: =26
Matter: =26
Spirit: =26
Crush: =31 (26 + 2 Norseman, +3 Scarab Vest Resist Enhancement Utility)
Thrust: =29 (26 +3 Scarab Vest Resist Enhancement Utility)
Slash: =30 (24 +3 Norseman, +3 Scarab Vest Enhancement Utility)

(With Sunbelt I have a +10 Crush/Thrust/Slash resist ability
for 30 seconds each 15 minutes, that will mean 41/39/40 for
that time, which I can use when I go vendo mode!).

So, effective stat bonus, plus hits:

+280 Hits
+88 Str
+78 Con
+71 Dex
+68 Qui

Then the rest of the goodies:

+9 Style Damage (1 from cap)
+10 Melee Speed (cap)
+8 Melee Damage (2 from cap)
+25 AF (cap)
+15 Fatigue (10 from cap)
(+80 Hits cap)
(+5 Con cap)
(+13 Str cap)

+11 Sword, +11 Left Axe, +4 Parry.

I will have these stats unbuffed:
Str: 213 (125+88 )
Con: 173 (95+78 )
Dex: 178 (95+71+12(Aug Dex II))
Qui: 118 (50+68 )

What do you guys think? :)

I'd shoot for more str cap...got a Merc template with 5 artifacts and +23 str cap, also slash resist is a real nice resist to cap.

But seems nice overall, strong template.

capping out str wont be much use since buffs (BB, yellow buffs, 25%+mota2) will cap his str out at hardcap or a few points from it

agree about slash tho, but then again, its already hitting over regular cap with the scarab vest so i think it should be ok

at least... this is al imho :p

Zahur's Ring is getting nerfed...check it up (reduceing +hp or sum)

there isnt any hard cap for str. more str = more ws :)

Well I have read through all the current patch notes on the US servers up to
1.69n and still not a word on Zahur's Ring. Only thing mentioned is the
Crown of Zahur, not the Ring.

Seems like it's not gonna happen until 1.70 then...

Pretty impressive template - well done :)


But if you arent sure about the 1.68 stats, dont sc anything until you have the actual item and know the precise stats :p (means, post 1.68!)

Yeah, I'm waiting to SC my 3 items before I got all the other items. :) :cheers:

Well I'm not gonna say anything for sure as I've never actually seen a char with more than 400 str. But what I gathered is that there is no hard cap. (My Half Ogre merc would've had 403 with template supposedly, but I kinda retired him) :)

The only cap is 250 for qui, that may be swing speed only though.

There is no hard cap, seen a merc with 450 str 2296ws, half ogre of course before stats nerf.

Troll Zerkers could get 433 str fairly easy.

100 Base
+15 str at creation
+45 str from level 50
+75 from items
+25 str cap
+62 base str buff
+93 spec str buff
aug str 3

433

also means a norse could get 403 str fairly easy.

HO merc should be able to get 423/418 str if they cap litterally everything str wise.


That would be between 2217 and 2160 weaponskill depending on race.
