My CS is messed up; help NEEDED :P

Ok... heres the problem, pls reply if u can help!



I unistalled my cs retail version bout a week ago, then reinstalled it a few days ago, i had to dl the retail upgrade patch (which i didget from BW) and then installed that.

i went to play the game and it said that my executable was out of date, so i did auto update and that said i DID have the right version installed. I then tried to play again and (yet again) it said i had the wrong executable.

SO.. the problem is...

1) How do i get it to work?

2)What is stoppoin the version from bein recognised?

pls reply with any suggestions (and btw i have reinstalled it )

Download 1103 upgrade from BW ftp. Not sure how big it is, but download it, thern keep it somewhere safe for next time you reinstall. Make sure you get the full upgrade though, not a smaller patch.

You get a full update, or a patch from 1102?

Did you get the 'your executable is out of date' when you tried to use the ingame browser? As it's often a bit dodgy that. try connecting through gamespy or ASE as they're far better. If you truly are unpatched, you will get the error when the map tries to load.

I deffo got the full update (it was 80 mb )

i av been usin ingame browser yer, but ive nvr had the problem b4
