This is yet another in my 'Music to ........ to' series.

Okay imagine yourself in your car (dads car for the younger of you) its a hot sunny day, you're on an open road speeding along without a care in the world, the window is down, (top down if you're one of those hairdresser types*) what music would you be listening to?

mine:

The cult: She sells sanctuary
Feeder: Insomnia
Foo fighters: Monkey Wrench
U2: beautiful day
Royksopp: Remind me
Will Smith and jazzy jeff: Summer time
The Cure: friday Im in love
Beethoven: ode to joy
puccini: o mio babbino cara

*due to my absence from barrysworld I am no longer sure if this is still funny.

Surely anything by radiohead isn't driving music, unless it involves an oncoming truck or cliff edge.
Bloody students.

You need to stop being ignorant and actually listen to some Radiohead tracks.

And who are you to tell me what I need? The point is I tend to find rousing music good to drive to on an open road and I don't think radiohead does the job unless you're intending to test the airbag.

I find Radiohead to be extremely rousing.

The only people I know who share your opinions are those that:

a) are easily depressed
b) are depressed anyway
c) haven't listened to enough of their music in order to get the complete picture

I agree that some Radiohead (e.g. The Bends, Electioneering) can be described as rousing, but I'll be impressed if you can find someone who gets roused by Exit Music.

M

mank!

Radiohead really aren't that depressing tbh. If you want depressing, go listen to The Holy Bible by the Manics.

Incubus(any).

Inme.

Jeff Buckley-Grace.

All my favourite cd's I listen to while driving, I don't really listen to many at home as I can't have them loud enough(semi-detached).

I can't think of the last full car compilation that I did but I'll nominate Doves.

Also, UNKLE - Lonely Sould and Rabbit In Your Headlight.

It's slower but I'm not much of a headrush kinda driver.
