Music in DAoC

Hi folks, is there any way that peeps know of to replace the music in DAoC with something else?

i'd like to replace the combat music with some blood pumping Wagner or something like that.

any advice is appreciated

I don't know, but it's a good idea, I might like to do that.
Maybe you can just switch off the ingame music and have an MP3 player running in background?

you can probably replace and rename the sound files in the sounds folder

i think the update just looks for filenames rather than sizes, but i could be horribly wrong! try changing midgardtown1.mp3 to midgardtown1.mp3 which is actually your perfectly legal favourite mp3 song!

Unfortunately it changes the files :/, I used to have MC Hammer - Hammer Time as my combat music, but it would change it back everytim I started the game, but it was well worth it ;P.
