I'm on the look out for a good dance album. The type of music you'd hear in a club atm.

Can anyone recommend any good albums?

jesus, clueless fuckers. "Rewind 2001"...go boil your head in piss. SAS, if you like funky house, I'd suggest the new Renaissance album. It's funked up, and Renaissance are a WELL established force in the club scene since the late 1980s. Enjoy

oh, PS. not in sale till sometime this month

Try one of the Ministry of Sound albums, they generally keep up with what's being played in the clubs atm...

Not that i even listen to "dance" music anyway.

I'd suggest if you're looking for something really new, the latest slinky album (out this friday).

Planet Slinky
Hawaii

The other 7 Slinky albums have been amongst some of the most impressive compilations I've heard.

Be sure to get the Dan Bailey one when it's released, that bloke really is a hero :)

Other than that, the Euphoria albums tend to be of a good quality the majority of the time, although none have been released recently.

Yes, if you like glowstick waving crap, get slinky or euphoria

Actually, it's any part of the break-beat scene really. But the UK-garage 'dons' (read: retards) stole it from the old ragga -jungle-techno MCs

You better not be in my "area". I find that most irritating.

At the end of the day, nothing is original - especially UtterKrap Garage ;)

Apologies for the really "Krap" alteration above...

I guess the question is "what club"? If you're not into "clubbing" music it can all sound the same, in which case what you probably want is the kind of commercial stuff that you get on MoS albums. There are, however, shitloads of different styles, and people are very individual about them - I know, for example, when I used to go clubbing, I'd stick almost exclusively to garage, and couldn't bear listening to trance. Each to their own is what I'm saying, but if I'm interpreting SAS's situation correctly he doesn't usually listen to "this type" of music, in which case I'd suggest sticking to the more commercial stuff like MoS or (if you want something a bit calmer) Chilled Ibiza.
