Whats the best way to have two lan configurations under xp?

I need one setup for static ip (at work) and one dynamic (home)...

Is it possible to create two local area connections in xp? Can't see where...

I'll try it with hardware profiles, one for home one for work...

They should hold network configurations.... right?

Thats easy, you setup an alternate configuration (Under the TCP/IP properties of the NIC) then if the primary connection can't find an IP it will set its static alternate. I've done this before and it works a treat...
