MTV Buys Out Guitar Hero Devs

Look like MTV are looking get a cut of the gaming marcket, having already swallowed up GameTrailers.com and Xfire they now own Harmonix the crafty guys behind the ace PS2 game Guitar Hero. read all about it over @ Game Industy.biz

Great great game, good purchase for MTV, they could make a truckload of money on that franchise.

Aye, is actually a good move for them. Not looking forward to the 'pimping' of Xfire though, is a good little tool.


But as I said, generally a good move - Big corp like MTV I personally thought would of done it alot sooner.
