Okaaaay, long shot but maybe you guys know.

As a manly man mountain-biker, I naturally keep my bikes in my house. Unfortunately this means I sometimes scuff the tyres on walls, etc. For some reason this only happens on uber light colours, but hey ho. Mostly due to my extremely rugged manliness, I know fuck all about the nitty gritty technicalities of specialist cleaning jobs.

Anyway, anyone have any idea how I can clean these scuffs up (short of repainting that is)? Just some suds and water? Ammonia? Things I should do or not do?

Answers on a postcard please!

If it's a painted emulsion wall then the easiest thing to do is just get a damp sponge with some of that emulsion, and dab the paint over the scuff. Then leave to dry.
