just had 2 people messaging me the same link, towards a .pif file, told so in /gu and others were receiving the same, so be carefull and don't open those, imo, shut down msn to make sure if possible

Just don't accept files being sent to you without asking what it is ... just like with e-mails ... shutting down msn is like disconnecting your phone cause you might get called by a phonesalesman and you don't want to buy a new vacuumcleaner

Thats because most msn worm infect ppl then spread by sending the file to every1 on there contact list. But the infected person dusnt know about it.

Try checking an Anti Virus website for a hotfix.

Firstly, GET OFF THE NET!

Secondly, GET OFF MSM or youll happily infect anyone in the address book.

Then try looking at your anti virus vendors site http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.bropia.l.html then maybe some others like http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/analyses/w32bropiaj.html and fix the problem.

Then appologise to everyone you infected.

Then maybe listen to your mother when she says "Dont take candy from strangers!".

Update MSM, Windows and your anti-virus.

Then remind me not to ever accept you as an MSM friend.

attachments are EVIL! never open them just delete them then reply to the sender to bring it around on floppy disk instead so you can virus check the attachment.

People still get arsey when i refuse file sends "why wont you accept?" because i dont want a freeking trojan infecting my computer muppets
