MSN messenger always does this..

i remmeber one time inparticular when they sent me a Message Prompt saying:

*You have 5minutes to say goodbye, then we are updating our MSN Service, this will take no longer than 30minutes blah blah blah*


Lol, now, unless the Yanks never went school to learn Times, this 30minutes ended up to be like fuckin 5 hours....

and i hate their new Emoticons, they are bollocks, fuckin get the old ones in, they where the best around !!!

Yeah, i use ita bit, leave it on all the time, but its just fuckin annoyin with the way it always locks up/crashes.. MSN are soo annoying lol

Hell, look at me, not exactly a rocket scientest, and I set up mIRC, and went on to run an eggdrop within 3 months.

Its all well and saying 'use irc ffs' but have you ever tryed explaining irc to computer illiterate ppl? 99% of them already have MSN and its just easier to use that.

Everyone started IRC somewhere. I only know how to use it but not to its full potential. Besides read the guide, it does help. MSN was good as it was a small app which did just chatting and nothing more. Like most programs they get shit built on them and turn out to be 6mb chat proggies. MSN seems to be copying the ICQ style. Ive stopped using ICQ for that very reason.

ICQ is worse than MSN. Some of it's features are confusing at best. Say I want to copy more than one line out of the message history at a time, I can't. WHY THE HELL NOT?? Why not have an export to .txt function or something? It just doesn't make sense. :eek:
