MS Word'03 pasting woes...grr

Dose any-one else get pissed off with MS Word 2003? I copy some text from a site and past into it, and it doesn’t work! instead it decides to pasts some stupid little graphic! Grrr I use this method allot cause i cant spoll and just wandered if it was me on my lonesome with this problem or any one else has it?

to be fair, I have the same problem sometimes and word drives me up the fucking wall, I hate it so much I want to beat the crap out of it, then I realise its only a bit of software and I cant

tried using paste special and choosing unicode or similar?
