Is so good I just bought another one to replace my first one...starting to show its age. Newer version is 33% faster and this baby feels real smooth......never take short cuts since a mouse is one of you primary inputs :)

I've actually gone back to my old ball mouse coz I found the Intelli crap for CS.

I also have pretty small hands which meant I wasn't fully griiping the mouse.

It is a great mouse still tho.

The first edition suffered from a slight jog now and then not that I noticed but the second version is meant to stop this since its now 33% faster :)

I love my giant blue Logitech optical mouse, sitting there on it's Ratpad mouse mat. The only mouse that fits my HUGE hand (and you know what they say about men with big hands...)

lol

Mine started to show its age, so I phoned up MS, gave them the product ID (under the mouse) and said it was under a year old and was starting to flibble about the screen. 'OK sir, we'll send another one out to you'

4ish days later, I get my brand spanking new Intellimouse Explorer with 33% faster optical technology!

They didnt even ask me to send back the old one :)

2 things

1) mine was also of natural age that wore out. They actually said that they wear out with age, so they'll send me a new one

2) The whole reason they ask you for how long you've had it is because they dont know. In fact, iirc I said about a year. I'm pretty sure the warranty is 2/3 years.

:)

Your were lucky since natural wear is not normally covered ;)

well, 2 people I know did the same thing. And I didnt actually say natural wear. I said 'the mouse gets all jittery and stuff.' and they said that it's normal and that happens after a while.

Oh well :)

I now have the Optical Wheelmouse - also with the 33% upgrade but more sensibly sized ;)
Very smooth, very impressed.

I'm intreged by the new Logitech Wireless-Ballless mouse though - aparently the balless bit gets over any problems with wireless lag or sommat.
- would be ideal for me new PC when it gets built (woo, not long now). anyone know if they work as well as I read?
