mpeg to mp3 in a nice easy package, please

Hi there! Hello! Great.

Does anybody know of an easy way to make mp3 files (or wav, I guess) from video files? I 'have' Adobe Premiere 6.0 which I'm sure can do it but that package makes my brain want to squeeze out of my eyes.

Anybody know of an alternative?

In Premier once you have the video on the timeline and your endpoints marked, you use file -> export clip -> audio

Thanks, Scoobs. I've done it now.

Rather sadly I made a CD of all the music and some choice dialogue from the Tenacious D HBO series, recorded in order.

It rocks, if I say so myself. :)

If it's a vob source (from a DVD), you can use DVD2AVI to extract the audio as a wav or ac3.

The website is because I have decided to stop being a complete sloth, and actually try to get some writing done. Working in Safeways has filled me with a horrible dread of What The Future Could Hold if I continue just sitting in my pyjamas and watching daytime television. So, I'm trying to get all motivational.

[PIMP] On about the 20th of the month I'm having a feature column put on www.intrepidmedia.com . And since everyone else who has a feature there has paid to become a member, and I'm Joe Nobody (Also Tight Arse Non Paying Person) who put in their first ever article, and they've taken it off to edit it and give time for a launch, I'm feeling fairly happy. So when it comes on, you have to go read it. [/PIMP]

Mr Trebz kindly made it for me, after I collared him on night when his will was weak, and moaned on forever about how I want to be a writer and haven't a clue where to start. The sucker actually volunteered! How daft is that?

The story isn't one of my favourites. I like bits of it, but bits of it still annoy me, but I knew I had to put something on there since the one thing that was linked to got removed.

I got them all through Kazaa (six episodes, only 10mins each). They'll never be on UK TV (probably) so maybe it's not illegal. Though it is.

I'm sharing them through Kazaa as well, but PM if you'd like them and maybe we can sort out some kind of direct download thang.

I read the story, didn't find it anything special, sorry, the only site that I can actually stand with personal writing is www.projectfilthy.com mainly 'cause the guy is funny
