[movie] CC - Getting Started

It's time for us to introduce ourselves to our fellow hibs and ewul albs and mids. So we in Carpe Cervisia have created a 30 minute long guildmovie.
The movie includes presentation of our members and then ~25 minutes of lowbie RvR. It contains two parts: Part one is from the very early days when we had no ml's, hardly SC and realmrank 1-3. The second part is from when we got our ml's sorted, had decent SC and most were realmrank 4. This is why we call the movie "Getting started" - because that's exactly what we've been up to

I have fixed a couple of download mirrors so everyone that wants to download it can...

Luwi hero plays way to much offensive for example hmgO fight against mids istead of guarding/bging the eld he went offensive on savage or what that was and after eld died instead of guarding/bging the druid went offensive again.

And to much pb charge what is ur setup?

Improve.. yeah, well that's what this movie is about "getting started".
But I agree, I hate that luwi hero for not bodyguaarding!

Pb-charge, yeah was alot, funneh though Got that sorted too.

Oh and the setup is kinda diffrent from time to time, we always try to have atleast a bard as healer a though!!!

-Nixara dying
-Nixbuff dying
-Nixara n00bing around against mids
-Nixbuff spamming spreadheals while group at 100% health

... or then again no, otherwise I wouldnt have been on the vid

Seize the... beer? Anyways, nice movie, but you stole the Armageddon music in the intro from my SS movie. Otherwise, the music was okay, but kind of "standard" for RvR groups--why does every gank movie have to include some Disturbed songs?

And yes, the hero is aggro-horny, he has his LW out 75% of the time and goes off on solo gank missions, maybe he should have rolled a BM instead?

As to our playing "skills" - as Bobo McBobo said we'r elow RR and still learning to play together. We're trying many things and changing something every fight. We don't have a optimized setup - we go with whoever wants to play even if that means BM, hero, warden and only 2 casters (Brrr)

"The hero is too aggressive" etc. etc. Maybe ... but then again I don't see the use in bodyguarding interrupted casters. I rather do some interrupting myself then. It's no fun just stick-botting so we try to make it work for both caster and bogyguarder - ie. if caster stays back to nuke, bodygaurder runs in and slams/interrupts. If they pbae I will come running to bodyguard.

"Too much LW usage" .. uhm? I wouldn't dream of trying to hit anyone with my piercer. I only have slam and 2 LW styles on my quickbar, as you can see, and after a target has been slammed I don't see why I shouldn't switch to LW? It's quite good damage actually (and fun). Guard is pretty pointless as any tank would know (except for those lucky blocks or if we would meet a FG of polearmers).

We do make ALOT of mistakes tho ... but thats what learning is.

Very nice editing, pretty good quality too. Fight material isnt the best but cant expect that from a new guild anyway. Always good to see new rvr guilds being formed, keep it up

Watch that bit one more time ... I stand next to the one I'm BG'ing almost all fight - the chanter - Alphy. The Eld was unfortunatly not BG'd in that fight (I have to choose one out of two most times) but the chanter and me cleared those tanks away quite effectivly imo. Just because I'm BG'ing doesn't mean I can't still hit people .. I'm in BG-range from 10 secs into the fight to the end tho

Find something better to complain about imo. That had no substance
