Move from Camlann to Excal, where to start?!?

Ok so my boss isnt at work today and i get bored and think about DAoC and think to myself, i really do hate Camlann (been playing there over 2 years now) and i think im gonna make a move over to Mid excal, im just not sure where to start i got a savage 48 on camlann so wont roll one of them, i found that warriors are a tad boring i got a 50 infi on cam so wont be rolling a SB. And i really do hate playing casters. So im going to roll either......

Reasons for Skald:
Played one on Cam for like 20-25 loved it speed away from fights i dont want and can chase them pesky casters with there slower speed, Insta Mezz for adds/pets, chants are good for grps and i like using 2handers , only thing that is stoping me from making one is that im thinking maybe a Zerker is more wanted in RvR and PVE groups?

Reasons for Zerker:
Havent really played one much but i played a SB to 50 so know about LA mechanics etc, so Evade stun will be nice, i hear they do awsome dmg just a little under that of a savage? (correct me if im wrong). Im not sure how effective bear mode is but it sure looks nice . Also Battler/Malice is very appealing (how hard would it be to get them on excal?) Also i hear one of the ML paths is very nice for grps.

What i wat to do on excal is get 1 char to ML10 in a very expensive nice toa template and then go RvR and get as high RR as possible. So really this is a question as wheather i will be bale to grp as well with a skald as i would be able to with a Zerker?

On a side note, once i have made a desicion i would like to purchase a PL from 20-45 possible 48 depending on the price with plats from camlann if anyone would be willing to do that or maybe for something else other than cam plats PM me if anyone is interested i will take any trading/buying in consideration.

I think Pixieblue sells PL's with her SM Pixiesilver. Further, if you don't want to roll a caster, 2 bad, cuz it's very fotm. I'd say thane ftw then! With a healer or shammie you'r always right btw.

Skalds usually have an easier time getting RvR-groups due to the speed and tanks being a bit out of fashion. Then again zerks do waaay more damage usually, plus they're probably easier to level (ignore if you're going for that PL though).
Got a lvl 50 skald and a lvl 24 zerk and personally prefer the first (obviously ). Speed, spells, taxi and a lot more to do with a skald. Although I do miss hamstermode and actually tanking something to death for once

Banelord Zerk is much more useful then an skald, and in NF Zerks > Savages so imo go zerk, or caster..

healer's can always get grps, and i'd say they are very fun to play (havn't tried but i'd like to)

also, instead of asking for pl and money on camlann, trade money, you can sometimes get it 4:1 or something really stupid, or at least 2:1, then the 10 on camlann suddenly becomes 20p on excal ;-D

A caster is always worth rolling or a healer because you get a group very easy and they are really fun to play.
So my advice to you: SM, RM!!! :wub:

not sure what Cemtex's problem is but anyway....

i started a zerker and didnt really find it as fun as i thought it would be, which caster would be best for getting some inital cash in for making other chars, PBAOE SM? (cant rember which spec line that is) i see BD's solo pretty well also for farming and leveling. But BD's are not in high demand for RvR right?

tbh play what every class appeals to you , everyone finds a prefered class for there own reasons , i enjoy playing a skald as its an all round character , aye its rvr is a bit undefined as there a hybrid but they seem to fit in to most groups because of the chants we play. im rolling an Sm next as they also suit both rvr and pve well but if you like to get in the thick of it i suggest a melee class as with all casters sm's dont take kindly to being beaten upon .

btw nice immature twatish post there cemtex , just cause ya dont like one person doesnt need a racial generalization comment. also try explaining your witless comment before posting such idiotic remarks then ya wont get flamed.

Warrior or Supp SM (PBAE).
Warrior if you got a bb and a SM if you can gather a grp in Malmo/MG.
