Mousewheel Help

I know that in Q3 you can bind to mwheelup and mwheeldown. Does anyone know of any hacks/utilities which allow you to emulate mwheelup/mwheeldown with normal keys/mouse buttons. I don't use a wheel mouse, but I would like to be able to use mwheelup/mwheeldown bound to a normal key.
PLEASE HELP, because this is stopping me from playing Q3 atm. (I have a weird config - trust me).

Err, I am somewhat confused as to why you need to emulate the mousewheel, when binding the other mouse keys to weapon up and weapon down would suffice.
