Not sure if this has been covered before, but what mouse surface is everyone using?

Looking for a new one at the mo, my Everglide optical one has been made redundant due to me shifting to a Boomslang which is a wheel mouse.

If anyone has a 'slang what surface are they using?

Happy new year to all btw, not been about due to family christmas stuff etc :(

Some shitty thing I got at the SU fair 3 years ago. It's plasticy and really really thin, works perfectly. Looks like utter shit now, but i've never wanted for anything else..

A Simpsons one, featuring Mr Burns saying "Excellent!". Quality of the surface seems good(it's been used for a year now, and there's no real damage or noticable wear)... I use an optical mouse on it though :)

I've never used an optical mouse... I've had my logitech mousemanwheel for years and I still love it! Do they have higher refresh rates or something? what's so good about them?

I find em to be far more smoother and easier to control, plus they dont get clogged up like Ball mice

Less frictions = less effort + more accuracy + more speed

When i changed to an intellimouse explorer, i found i was suddenly able to make very accurate quick, but short movements. I upped my sensitivity in all my games, and reaped the benefits :)
