Try not to faint. It's a gaming-related question in General*
When playing FPS's I tend to wang the mouse sensitivity right up. E.G. if it's a scale of 0-100 I tend to play at around 80 when most games set the default at about 30.
I like the twitch action. Move my mouse about an inch and I've done a 180 and am ready to shoot.
Played against some fucker on tribes tonight who was getting three times the kills of everyone else (using the hitscans I've been avoiding like the plague). He reckons he's on a really low sensitivity setting - about 15 (though he could turn on a sixpence).
Now, I could never be arsed to learn about uber-geek mousery. DPI's etc.. Maybe I should?
What settings do you use? Do you think the hardware makes that much difference? If you think yes, what do you have?
*Oops. "The Front Room"
