Mouse Problem

I will have to get pest control :doh: wrong mouse.

The mouse I have is a normal roller ball, generic type thingy. I want to make the sensitivty on the mouse a little more responsive. The problem is when I go to control panel and try and use the mouse option, nothing comes up and a single beep is heard. Is there any software I can download to change this? or anyway of getting mine working. I am using winXP

Im assuming, probably wrongly, that its a Microsoft mouse. If so you could try downloading the Microsoft Intellipoint software. This would probably solve your problem.

If its not an MS mouse, try visiting the manufacturers site for some software or support. You could also try the XP support pages for any help.
