The highly acclaimed MotoGP brand returns in 2005

Woking, Surrey UK, 03 June, 2004 – THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI), today announced the next game in the MotoGP series in development with Climax. The new instalment will have players racing through photo-realistic race tracks and will introduce a brand new mode. The game is slated for worldwide release in the quarter ending September 30, 2005, for the Xbox™ videogame system from Microsoft and on PC. In territories outside of USA and Canada, this game will be known as "MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology 3.

Originally released in 2002, MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology introduced thrill-seeking game players to an adrenaline-filled racing experience. The original title was followed with the release of MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology 2 in 2003, which was one of the first titles to feature Xbox Live™ support. Featuring the most immersive MotoGP experience at the time, the two releases enjoyed an impressive number of awards including those from Microsoft Advanced Technology Group, Official Xbox UK, Edge and IGN.com.
