Okay Ive got my new Aopen A89 max motherboard and it comes with a 4 pin 12v power connector as well as your standard 20 pin connector. My question is do I connect to both or just one?

The manual doesnt say and neither does the web site though a reply to a post about non p4 boards (for another mobo) suggested connecting both.

Anyone know anything about this?

Plug em both in. Isn't the 4 pin plug to provide extra power for the CPU or something? I set up a board like that last week and it didn't work with just the big connector.

It can't do any harm to connect both, possibly one of them is to power onboard fans and other things?

I just bought an Aopen 6800 GT, the bit about connecting the molex for the fan was the very last line on the last page of the instructions, so it doesn't surprise me that its not in the manual :)

Ta very much. I did manage to find a review with a photo showing both plugged in. Still Id be happier if the manual had said so.
