Motherboard codes

Bonjour!

Im trying to figure out who makes my motherboard, and I have the code that is displayed at the POST screen but I tried searching google for it and nothing came up. was wondering where else to check? any ideas?

Download Sisoft Sandra, it will then tell you all the things about your pc :)

that gave me everything but the piece of info I wanted! hehe...any other way I can tell the motherboard manufacturer?

on the post screen at the begining (u know the one...wher it counts/checks your ram....not the graphics card screen) there should be a long number at the bottom on the left....that, iirc, is the identifier for your mobo....just google that..

Another option is to check the mobo for a FCC ID then do a Google search for 'FCC ID'. The return should give you a .gov URL, go there and punch in that FCC ID and it will tell you the manufacturer of your mobo.
