Saw it tonight, what a great animated movie.

Best way to describe it is Toy Story 3 I suppose, just damned good. Going to have to see this one twice, then buy the DVD.

I love Disney films. Fuck all wrong with liking them as an adult. I have Toy Story 1&2 on DVD as well as Tarzan.

Wouldn't buy the Lion King though, cos it's just shit.

Yes - jumping on the bandwagon

Some of the voices are done by people that work for Pixar, or thier friends. Before they get the big name actors in they do test runs, these often turn out to be so good they use them in the film

ye the little girl is voiced by one of pixars' directors daughters. they were just gonna use her for early versions then get in some professional but she was so good they kept her in it

How does it compare with Shrek ? My little 4yo son has a goldfish attention span but he managed to sit thru Shrek no problem, I'd like to take him to see Monsters Inc.

I think that the good thing about Shrek was that it worked on so many levels, Monsters Inc doesn't do this as well.

There are some slow parts, but the action sequences are good

The only thing wrong with being an adult and going to see a Disney film is that it means inevitably being stuck in a cinema with over 50 screaming (and giggling, whispering, chatting, squirming) children on a Saturday afternoon and having to strain to hear...

Or so it was for me last Saturday when I saw 'Shallow Hal'...God, am I getting old?

I got Monsters Inc on VCD for my little bruv a few days ago, won't watch it myself though, don't like that kinda thing, Behind enemy lines and Black hawk down rock
